And guess what? You get to name what your goals are and what you want out of the process. Sometimes it is a space to learn to make space for yourself.
I specialize in psychodynamic therapy which means I will ask you about your past as I believe our pasts inform how we make decisions and choose people as adults.

I was initially drawn to psychotherapy having witnessed again and again the positive impact the therapeutic process had on my loved ones and my own life. I became passionate about therapy after witnessing the growth and confidence that my clients experience when getting to know themselves and their own patterns better. I am an LCSW and offer talk therapy services with an emphasis on compassion, humor, and creative forms of exploration. I practice from a psychodynamic and IFS (Internal Family Systems) informed lens.
I have experience in both private practice and behavioral outpatient clinic settings supporting clients with individual and group therapy modalities. I specialize in gender and sexuality matters (including gender affirmation surgery letters), dysfunctional family dynamics, co-dependency, fertility issues, parenting, and helping clients in 12 step recovery programs like AA and CMA. I have experience supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA clients who endure intersectional identity oppression trauma.

I use she/her/they/them pronouns. I am a parent and enjoy supporting new queer parents and those embarking on a family planning journey. I love animals, karaoke, and walking in New York City.
